Takatalvi

I have always liked Finnish word "takatalvi". It means winter weather, which cames after you have just thought that the spring has started. "Takatalvi" sound likes Japanese when you pronounce it, doesn't it? You might think that "takatalvi" is quite deppressing season, it is not. Spring always need one or two "takatalvi"s to come. "Takatalvi" means that spring is near.

Even thought I like "takatalvi", all of my dogs doesn't. Last night it was snowing, and we have almost 30 cm new snow at the backyard.  At the mornign Salli looked liked she wanted to cry - someone has ruined her yard and paths. Iiris was looking at me and thought that she wont wet her feet, she rather would pee on the terrace. But Lui jr. was loving it. He jumped in the snow, he dipped his head in the snow, he ran like maniac in the snow. Yep - Lui jr loves "takatalvi".

Jep - Lui jr rakastaa takatalvea :)
